Committee Members

Linda Wilson

Linda has been a midwife and educator for 11 years and has been involved with the immediate despair of losing a child unexpectedly during pregnancy, birth, as a newborn and in infancy. As a mother of two young boys the desire to assist in the ongoing research and bereavement support for the families who experience this loss became very important and therefore founded the "Splash of Red" Ball to raise funds to assist with SIDS and SUDC programs.

Wendy Maloney

Wendy and Linda were the founders of the "Splash of Red" ball in 2007. They decided to organise a fundraising ball for SIDS and Kids NSW soon after the devastating loss of her nephew Jordan McIntosh. Wendy is a qualified accountant who runs her own book keeping business. She is a mother of two (with another on the way). Wendy is the CFO for the "Splash of Red" Committee and also oversees ticket sales.

Kyrstyna McIntosh

Krystyna lost her son Jordan to SUDC at the age of 19 months. She currently works in the area of Occupational Health and Safety and has extensive experience in project management and arranging events. Krystyna's passion is to increase community awareness of SUDC, raise funds for research and continue to support families who have experienced the same tragic loss. A "Splash of Red" Ball is a tribute to her son Jordan.

Teresa Fletcher

Teresa is the sister of both Krystyna and Wendy and is part of the 'Splash of Red' committee in support of her sister. Teresa is both a Primary School trained teacher and small business owner, with experience in Web design. Teresa has two children of her own and helps in the development of the committee's website, coordination of the event & merchandise design and development.

Joanne Struck

Joanne suffered the loss of her son Jay Thomas Struck, to SIDS at the age of 10 months. She joins the committee with over 20 years experience in Sponsorships, Marketing and Project / Event Management. She brings a wealth of knowledge and first hand experience to the team.

Kristina Morizzi

Kristina is our Event Manager and the primary contact on the night of the event. Kristina brings with her over 10 years experience in hosting and producing events from both a venue perspective as well as an operational perspective. Kristina joined us in 2009 for the first time, and we again welcome her experience and skills in 2010.
